Wee Ones – Saylorville Members

Are you tired of unused baby items collecting dust around your house? Maybe you’ve tried garage sales and second hand stores. Now what? Before you give the items to a thrift store, please consider donating them to the Wee Ones Care and Share program – a free service for mothers in need of essential maternity and baby items.

There are 24,000 homeless people in Iowa. More than half of them are children. Homeless. Helpless. In need of hope. One simple gesture can restore hope. Join us in making a difference by helping mothers and children in need through your donations.

DONATE

Donate new and gently used items:

• Baby clothes (size newborn – size 4T)
• Diapers (size 1 – 4)
• Wipes
• Baby bottles
• Blankets, sheets, burp cloths
• Baby gear (car seats, swings, strollers, high chairs, pack n’ plays, etc.)
• Baby furniture (cribs, changing tables, dressers, rocking chairs, etc.)
• Miscellaneous (infant Tylenol®, Desitin®, baby wash, etc.)

Donations are preferred between April 1st and July 1st, 2010. Items can be dropped off in the Wee Ones collection “crib” located in the entryway by the infant nursery. If you are unable to drop your items off, you can arrange a time for them to be picked up by calling 515.289.2395 (option 3). Receipts are available upon request.
