Mark’s Bio

Mark Vance is the Music and Ministries Pastor at Saylorville Baptist Church. Mark grew up in a wonderful home with godly parents who taught him the gospel from a young age. As a young child, he recognized he was a sinner and placed his trust in Christ. As God continued to work in his life, Pastor Mark eventually headed to Faith Baptist Bible College where he graduated in 2004. In 2006, Mark joined the pastoral staff at SBC. In his position, Mark directs our adult module teaching, 1:28 College and Career Singles ministry, and provides leadership to our times of corporate worship. Mark’s passion is to magnify Jesus Christ by studying, living and teaching the Word of God (Ezra 7:10). Mark is married to Crystal and has one son, Owen, and a daughter, Avery.
