Lisa’s Bio

Lisa Pedersen is the Office Manager and Children’s Ministry Director at Saylorville Baptist Church. She grew up in a wonderful Christian family and has attended Saylorville Baptist Church her whole life. She was saved at a very young age when she realized her need for a Savior and placed her life and trust in Him (Eph. 2:8-9). In junior high Lisa felt God’s leading in her life to serve Him in the ministry however He saw fit. This led her to Cedarville University, a Christian liberal arts college in Ohio. She enjoyed four great years at Cedarville before following God’s clear leading back to Iowa to work for Dr. Gary and Barb Rosberg at a non-profit marriage ministry called America’s Family Coaches. After seven years at AFC, the Lord called her to serve Him at Saylorville Baptist Church. She has been here since January 2009.

Lisa has been a youth leader for seven years and enjoys serving the Lord in various capacities at SBC. One of her favorite verses is Psalm 143:8, “Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.”
