For any ladies interested, you are invited to our fall event.

• Share a favorite holiday food and the recipe
• We’ll put the recipes together for everyone to enjoy. See the sign-up table in the foyer at church for more information.
• Workshops (pick two):
• “Evangelistic Coffees” – Carol Gnadke
• “Holiday Spa” – Jen Walter
• “Creative Cards / Gift Tags” – Jackie Safely*
• “Unique and Affordable: Gifts in a Jard” – Jenny Klinefelter and Donna Shattuck*

*A nominal fee will be charged for these workshops.

I want to inform all of you that there were two soldiers in Tim’s battallion killed this weekend. That’s all I know, I don’t have any details. My heart is so deeply saddened for these two families whose lives were changed forever today. As I have earlier mentioned this is the month of Ramadan over there and the violence is greatly heightened. Tim is out on the road about 5 days a week right now, as best as I can tell. For those of you that don’t know he drives for about 15-18 hours a day, keeps a look out for roadside bombs or anything suspicious, and sets up security for convoys carrying supplies in for the soldiers all across the country. He does this in the western part of Iraq, driving to the border of Syria and back to pick up these supplies.

I can never express my gratitude for your prayers, God is obviously using Tim over ther and keeping him safe. Please keep these families in your prayers also over the next couple of days.
